Horizen is a project focused on privacy and verifiable computation for Web3. ZEN is its token and, since July 2025, an ERC-20 token on Base.
Horizen migrated to Base to gain access to Base's scalability, liquidity and DeFi ecosystem. The migration was approved by Horizen DAO and completed on 23 July 2025; the old mainchain and EON chain are being discontinued.
ZEN on the EON chain was migrated automatically to the same address on Base. ZEN on the legacy mainchain must be claimed through the official Horizen claim portal, with no deadline. If your ZEN was on an exchange that supported the migration, the exchange handled it for you.
ZEN has a fixed maximum supply of 21 million tokens, unchanged by the migration.
Horizen was originally launched in 2017 as a fork of Zcash, and has since developed its own technology and moved its token to Base.
Log in to BigONE, deposit USDT, then open the ZEN/USDT spot market and place a market or limit order.
